Digital Didactic Shorties: Automatically grade student texts with AI - presentation of the "markr" software [DiL]

The event series "Digital Didactic Shorties" covers essential topics that focus on digitally supported teaching. Mostly it is an interactive lecture about proven concepts, platforms and methods to give you new ideas for (digitally supported) teaching.

At the education exhibition "Learntec" in Karlsruhe on 24 May, I got to know the software "markr", which can be a valuable support in assessing student performance. I can train the software for each of my questions so that it makes suggestions as to whether the answer is correct after about ten responses to student performance. In this way, I can - with support - assess and feedback student submissions much more easily.

In the DDS seminar, the developer Mr. Török will present the software and enter into a discussion with us about when, where and how the application can be usefully integrated into teaching.
