Online-Workshop: Opening Dynamically: How to Get Academic Lectures off to a Good Start in English
This webinar provides you with training and practice in opening lectures in a variety of dynamic ways. You will learn techniques and acquire the linguistic structures to capture the audience’s attention, establish your credibility and smoothly articulate the benefit of your talk. In order to make the webinar as practical as possible, participants will be encouraged towards the end of the webinar to apply their learning by creating a dynamic opening for one of their own lectures.
Goals:
After completing the seminar, the participants will
- Open lectures in English more confidently
- Select the most dynamic technique to open presentations
- Have a range of linguistic structures to gain the audience’s attention
Participants should have at least level B2 in English.
A level of at least B2 in English is required to participate.
