Introduction to the ZHL's new video studio for efficient video recording [DiL]
Videos are an effective and familiar way of communicating knowledge - especially for today’s students. It’s time for teaching staff to be able to create high-quality videos easily, comfortably, and without technical barriers.
The Centre for University Teaching and Learning (ZHL) at the University of Bayreuth offers a fully equipped video studio that can be used free of charge by instructors and students. The studio enables you to produce professional teaching videos and present your content in a clear, engaging, and interactive way.
The studio has recently been upgraded and relocated to a larger space, providing improved usability and significantly better production quality. Participants will benefit from enhanced lighting, more room for flexible setups, improved teleprompter functionality, a smoother workflow for video distribution after recording, and cleaner green-screen results with reduced spill. This short introduction session is designed to help you get started quickly. After the meeting, you will be able to book the studio independently and produce your own videos efficiently and confidently.
