Intercultural Skills for University Lecturers

Given the culturally diverse nature of university settings, intercultural competence has become an essential skill for lecturers and staff. This seminar will provide both academic insights and practical, hands-on approaches to the topic, offering participants the opportunity to engage with real-world scenarios. They will examine various models of culture and intercultural communication, helping them enhance their ability to develop effective communicative strategies, cultural self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of diverse cultural perspectives. By exploring concepts of culture(s) and inter/multi/transculturality, participants will gain valuable tools for navigating and thriving in a multicultural academic environment.
